Accounts Payable Specialist - $18/hr

Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $18/hr

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, is detail-oriented, and is confident reviewing the work of peers.

Must Haves

5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
High-volume invoice processing (40-50 invoices per day)
Strong understanding of accruals and general ledger coding
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

Experience in the freight forwarding or transportation/logistics industry
Prior use of ERP systems (any platform)

Key Responsibilities

Process AP invoices accurately and efficiently
Enter invoice data into internal systems and route invoices for approval
Perform peer reviews of teammate invoices; must be comfortable reviewing and validating others' work
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Support month-end AP tasks as needed
